Making the challenging clinical decision
After attending this course, you will have a better understanding of:
- The structure of acute pathways within mental health services
- The views which occur across different teams from liaison psychiatry assessment services to in-patient and community services about the advantages and disadvantages of pursuing a mental health admission.
- The steps required to make a sound clinical decision to admit or discharge the patient, and the consequences of such decisions on patients, their families and other teams across the pathway.

Research
Let our team complete a full Training Needs Analysis for a department, directorate, or the whole hospital! We can work to complete this ourselves or work collaboratively with your own staff. Our standard outcome measures assess learner progress and produce a full report looking at wider impact of training using a range of tested assessment methodologies.
